The Market House Cafe and Bake Shop is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch. Located on the quaint Ozark square, the setting is cozy and the staff are always friendly. I've never had anything to eat there that wasn't wonderful. As a carb-aholic, the plethora of breads, cookies and desserts made right there in the Bake Shop are an especially strong draw. Do NOT skip dessert, my friends.

Great little place in downtown Ozark. I got the eggs Benedict which were excellent.

Had the burger with the maple syrup bacon reduction. Delicious Save room for dessert. Had the bread pudding

Can’t say enough about this wonderful cozy restaurant located downtown Ozark. The service is always fantastic. Laura Dean is a tremendous asset to this restaurant. Even if she isn’t serving you, she always steps in to help her coworkers. It is great employees like Laura that make the dining experience wonderful. The food! OMG the food is the best. If you live in Springfield or Ozark you need to check this place out. We dined there yesterday and I had the worlds best grilled cheese with bacon strips and avocado, and topped it off with incredible slice of cheesecake. The potato salad is the best I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend Market House Cafe to everyone. Trust me, you will be back again, and again.

Skillfully turned waiting for the DMV across the street into a great experience :)

Fun and Unique Stop for Lunch

Very nice! Good food good coffee a bit pricey.

We were heading home on a four hour drive, and we stopped here for breakfast. Our family of six, ordered a ton of food. It was everything we were craving. Everything was so so good !!

Awesome service and food. We were looking for a place for lunch following a horrible experience at Spring Creek where we were never served. What a pleasant surprise. Delicious fried green tomatoes and chicken salad. Highly recommend this cafe. Will definitely return.

My absolute FAVORITE little cafe to go to!! I find myself walking through your door at LEAST once a week, if not twice! Barbra always has awesome weekly specials that are DELICIOUS! Her cakes/pastries/cookies are to die for! The staff is the sweetest and they will always take care of you!! If you haven't had the chance to eat here yet, you need too!!

The food was okay. Not bad, but not great. We ordered two breakfast plates, two coffees and a cinnamon roll and it was $40 with the tip. Given the price I will likely not eat here again. If it were more reasonably priced, I would consider it. Eating in would likely be a better experience.

This is our favorite place to eat in the area. The staff is friendly, and the owner stops by our table nearly every time we're there. Hands down the best breakfast anywhere. The biscuits and gravy are better than homemade. The lunch menu is great too and the specials are always worth trying. Fresh baked goods every day. It's really hard to go wrong. We take all our out of town guests here for at least one meal during their stay.

Awesome vintage cafe vibe. Great food. The menu is inspired by the owner's travels and I can tell she's put a lot of thought and passion into the menu and food. Great breakfast with both traditional and innovative breakfast foods. Lunch menu has never disappointed either. Service has always been good, even when busy.

Stopped in early for breakfast. I had the grits, hubby had the biscuits and gravy "Deputy Fife" meal. He was very pleased. The grits tasted good but were a little soupy. Prices are a bit high but worth it for me because of the ambience of the room. Would definitely eat here again!

I strongly recommend everyone passing through Ozark to stop here and get some food. The staff is incredibly polite and makes you feel like family. As far as food goes, all of their sandwiches will take you to flavor town. They win big by making their own bread and using top quality meats.

My wife and I ate breakfast here on small business Saturday. I had the French toast, and my wife had a biscuitwich, with sausage. My wife said the biscuit was excellent, and the French toast was amazing. The wait staff was very friendly, they always keep your coffee cup filled!

The food took forever but it was worth the wait and the staff were SO NICE! It felt like something right out of a movie. I'll be back 😎
